Mandate of the Nigerian Military School

"To provide comprehensive academic and military training to young Nigerians, preparing them for a career in the Military and other professions."

At NMS, Boys receive comprehensive academic and military training adequate for their enlistment into the Nigerian Army as soldiers. Admission into NMS is strictly for Boys only; and admission is for JSS1 only. Candidates for admission must be 12 years old by August 31^st of year of admission. Admission is open to children of Military Personnel and Civilians. Maximum age limit is 14 years.
